The Clarksdale Office serves Bolivar, Coahoma, Quitman, Tallahatchie and
Tunica counties. It is staffed with lawyers, paralegals and other support
staff who are available to address problems which may occur in its
services areas or to make appropriate referrals.
All applicants must meet the financial eligibility guidelines provided
by NMRLS. We handle only civil cases. We do not accept criminal cases or
fee-generating cases.

Your family's income should be at or below 125.0% of the poverty level.

Asset limitation, citizenship determination or eligibility under another funding sources i.e.
COA(60 or above), Housing Counseling, IRS, Domestic Violence, or HUD.

If a client is 60 or above (COA) he/she does not have to meet any income eligibility requirements.

| What is an emergency? Emergency intakes are deemed to be cases where the applicant is a victim of domestic violence or faces imminent and permanent loss of property, loss of children, or right to vital benefits which could be forestalled or temporarily delayed if legal action is not immediately taken. |
